This policy is for the websites twistina.co.uk and twistopher.co.uk and served by Twistina and Twistopher, (Christine Belcher and Michael Belcher) and governs the privacy of the users who choose to use either website.

This policy sets out why and how we use information you give us and how we keep it secure.

Who we are

We are Twistina and Twistopher, and are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in compliance of the new GDPR regulations.

Most importantly, we will never share your personal information with any other website or person unless we get your express permission.

We, Christine and Michael Belcher known as entertainers Twistina and Twistopher, are the controllers of the data you provide us.

We only collect basic personal data about you. This includes name, address, email, phone number.

It does not include any special types of information or location-based information. (Location based information is a software-level service that uses location data to control features)

 

Why we need your data

We need to know your basic personal data in order to communicate with you in relation to any enquiry you make.

information is then used to produce booking contracts, any relevant invoices, communication in reference to the engagement and information that will help with the booking e.g. the birthday child’s name.

We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

If you are booking a private family event e.g. birthday party, your information will not be used for future marketing purposes.

Following your enquiry, if a response is not received to our reply e-mail, we may send a reminder e-mail.

A period after that, your e-mail correspondence and any information relating to the enquiry on our booking system will be deleted.

This also applies to enquires if you notify us that you not wish to proceed with a booking.

Twistina and Twistopher will aim to do this within 6 months of the enquiry.

 
What we do with your data

We have a data protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

All the personal data is processed by ourselves and our service providers listed below. No other 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

  1. The information you supply when making a booking enquiry is processed by Giggio who handle our customer relationship management (CRM) and booking system. This is for the sole purpose of taking booking enquiries and keeping the necessary information to carry out the booked service and record associated financial transactions.   2. We use Google as our email provider (gmail). Google services are compliant with GDPR

How long we keep your data

Following your enquiry, if a response is not received to our reply e-mail, we may send a reminder e-mail.

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) in connection with actual bookings, for a minimum of 6 financial tax years, after which time it will be destroyed.

 
What we would also like to do with your data

For companies and event organisers who hold annual events, we may like to use your name and email address to check if you would like to use our services, ( Balloon art, balloon modelling, children's entertainment ) in the future.

You will be given the opportunity to authorise this in the booking form. This information is not shared with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone, email or our website.
