Where is Twistina based and how far does she travel?

I am based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire but regularly travel all around the UK.

The journey distance to and from postcode OX14 2PF will be reflected in the travel costs.

Parties & shorter events, may not be considered viable if too far away.

Absolutely! I am a member of Equity and have 10 Million pounds public liability insurance.  I have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate. (formerly CRB)
I can also supply you with a health and safety risk assessment.

Why are balloons not recommended for children under 3 years?

Children of any age can choke on balloons if they breathe them in when trying to blow them up, or by chewing on inflated  balloons or deflated scraps.

Very young children are more prone to choking injuries because they put things in their mouths and their airways are so small that they can easily get plugged.

Will everyone get a balloon model at my event?

Accepted Answer

At parties / smaller events, if a balloon model is required for every guest, it is imperative that the client & I have agreed on how many people are in attendance.
This is necessary to fulfil everyone within the specified time & to provide the best service. Extra pre-made balloon sculptures may be made by prior arrangement if numbers are larger than I can cater for.
If the number of guests exceeds the agreed amount, it may be possible for me to work extra time at the appropriate rate. This must be  formally agreed.
At public or large events, it is not possible to provide a balloon for everyone. I will try to judge the demand & allowing for the time constraint of the booking, choose the sophistication of the sculptures in accordance.

Does Twistina make "adult" (rude) balloon models?"

Sorry No!
I am very much a family orientated entertainer & as such will only make balloon art that is family friendly.
In any case, adults just love the stuff I make, so there is no need!

Does Twistina do a stage show?

My balloon twisting is not done as a stage show but rather as an interactive, entertaining spectacle either in a fixed location, or in certain circumstances, a mix and mingle style.

Are the balloons that Twistina uses biodegradable?

Accepted Answer

Yes! They are not made from plastic but from latex which comes from the sap of the rubber tree. It is a completely natural, sustainable substance.
It breaks down when exposed to the elements of nature, decomposing at about the same rate as an oak leaf.

My partner Twistopher is available to hire along side myself or separately.
Twistopher may also be able to help with finding other quality balloon modellers, Punch and Judy Shows etc, should he not be available.
